The new 'do

Hair Salons just aren't what they used to be.

I thought it was only in Richfield

There was a sink hole a couple of streets away from my house. So they placed an orange cone by it. Well, the sink hole expanded and the cone fell down into it. Did they fix it then? No. The just put a thingy over the cone inside the sink hole. For a small moment, I felt like I was home.....

Beautiful Fall

The Creative Process

First was the Idea of the costume, which was all Leah. Originally I was going to be Nemo with pool noodles attached to my body so I could be and anenome, but I like Dori better. Leah and I couldn't figure out what my body would be if I were Dori though. Then my eleven year old Sarah had the idea of the Jellyfish. And so it began....

Leah told me to make a size model of my head out of paper and then when it fit perfectly, trace it onto foam. So that is what I did.

We eventually got the basics all done. It was tedious and agrivating but all worth it.

It's all coming together

I made a huge mess of my living room just cuting out and hot gluing.

I traced the head from the paper, onto the foam

I tore up those bath poufs and hot glued them onto shower caps. Then pinned them onto my pink outfit.

Painted my face blue, and was ready for the dance! In my hand is my squishy and he shall be my squishy. Squishy is just a bath pouf with the tore up ones glued onto it.

PS I won the costume contest. Thanks Leah, Sarah, and Shirley for your help! Ed as Quailman got 2nd place. He was a bit bitter, but he lost to someone good. That's all I can say. At least he didn't lose to the Archie characters!
