Camping at Palisade Lake

Trevor wanted to camp at Palisade before we left for Texas. This is where we honeymooned. Click on the collage to see some beautiful.

Canyon De Chelly

On our roadtrip to Texas, we stopped at the Canyon De Chelly (pronounced Canyon Due Shay), in Arizona. You've got to click on the collage of pictures. It was gorgeous. If you look in several of those pictures, you'll see some anasazi (?) ruins in the cliff walls. Trevor thought the sign in the bottom picture was funny. We saw several sign at several of the lookouts and they depicted ancient people doing their thing, and then we come to this sign. Notice the pick-up truck by the river.

Aliens love dining out. That's why they visit earth.

I had the opportunity to eat with one. He was hilarious.

The UFO Museum

This replica was found in Mayan ruins. Apparently all the symbols on it mean an alien autopsy. We couldn't figure it out.

I thought these 'basic alien types' in the museum were rather amusin. Especially bigfoot and the humanoid. If you know anyone over 6'8", they're probably an alien. I went to school with one, appearantly. And what of the NBA?










The UFO museum gives you these neon stickers. And we noticed this pole down the street.

Welcome to Texas!

South Padre Island

A few weeks ago, church was cancelled because of the swine flu, so we decided to go explore the nature god gave us. We headed to South Padre Island about 30 minutes away. It was fun, but the beaches weren't as pretty as I was expecting, but I hear the north part of the island is better. We still had a blast!

You'll have to click on the bottom picture to really see it but those birds would fly in a line and stay so close to the water. It was neat looking. Also a jellyfish washed on shore! At that point, Allie and I were done. The fellas weren't as cautious.

Nothing on Texas yet. I'm catching up. Also, this is an unfamiliar computer so I'm trying to figure out how to upload videos. My goal is to post pictures every sunday....maybe more often. Who knows? Still to post; Palisade lake, Roadtrip to Texas, Texas itself, and South Padre Island.


Happy Mothers Day! I've gotten spoiled today. Breakfast in bed, a massage while Allie napped, and now time to myself so I can blog. Love all y'all mothers!


PS I picked up an awesome new phrase. They don't say "That's bull crap!" here. They say "horse dukey!" But you have to say it with the accent. It's great.
