this is utterly discusting that you are having fun, getting paid more and not under the extreme stress I am. It is very hard to like you when you post blogs like this. Good thing I love you. Mom

Have you taught those kids how to play Thunder Plunge or Swedish Bells yet? There's some fun just waiting to happen!

I don't know what either of those are, dad.

Yeah, before our time, old man. Maybe those are pioneer games they had to play because there was nothing better to do.

That reminds me of the good ol' days!

OK, here ya go:

Swedish Bells: You get a group of kids and select somebody to be "It". Blindfold "It" and spin them around until they are dizzy. Then somebody hits them with a baseball bat, and they try to guess who it was (after they regain consciousness). If they guess right, the other person is "It". If not, they go again.

Thunder Plunge: Get a shopping cart. Find a steep hill with a busy intersection at the bottom. Put the kids in the shopping cart at the top of the hill. Give the cart a gentle nudge.

You kids used to love these games! Don't you remember?

Of course! How could I have forgotten?

Probably because you weren't very good at guessing during Swedish Bells.
