In Idaho, we lived near a llama farm. We became good friends with the people there, and Allie completely took to them. We couldn't get her to sit with us in church because she insisted on sitting with our neighbors. We went and saw the llamas almost daily. These pictures are from the first time Allie saw the llamas. We were so surprised because she didn't act scared in the least. She was kissing them immediately. I, on the other hand, was very apprehensive. Llamas don't like to be pet. If you hold your hands out, they won't come near you. But, if you put your arms behind your back and lean forward, they're more than happy to kiss you. Allie loved it. For me, it was scary to have such big creatures coming at your face. We learned, with time, that llamas are very kind natured (to humans at least) and have very soft noses and lips for kissing.
