Pancakes

This morning I made the fluffiest pancakes ever! I love how easy they are to make! They're very simple. I love to add extras too. Today I added bananas and chocolate chips, topped with strawberry jam. Next time, I'm thinking stawberry banana pancakes. Oooh! Or raspberry banana.

Nash

I think my nephew is the cutest thing ever!

My daughter

I know it's not the greatest picture of her. We don't have a scanner, so I took a picture with my camera. It didn't work too well, so we'll try something to show you the other ultrasounds.

On Saturday, I felt Ali for the first time. And since then, she's been going crazy. I can feel her right now. Last night in class, she was wiggling, and then there was about a 10 min break where she got up all the energy she could muster. Out of nowhere I recieved a round house kick to the bladder. It was the strongest kick I've felt her do. It surprised me and I jumped in the middle of the lecture. My bff asked if I was ok, but I was just so startled! She's increasing in strength daily, as I increase in visits to the bathroom.

Your Creator

This morning, Trevor and I woke up earlier than we needed to get up, so we got to just lie in bed and talk. That's probably my favorite time with him of all. He began rubbing my belly and talking to Ali as he usually does. Then he got this really deep voice and said "Ali, this is your creator. You will obey all my commands" Trevor is my favorite.

On Tuesday

Tuesday we will see our baby on ultrasound for the first time. Finally! There's been lots of complications to getting it, but it's coming. We'll finally know once and for all how far along we are. I know I am 14 weeks at the very least, but I could be 18 weeks. Then we'd find out it's gender soon. I can't wait to see Cletus!

There's a first for everything.

And today's first, is our anniversary! I love Trevor so much! He's so made for me it's not even funny. I have to say this has been the best and worst year of my life. Some Highlights:

  • Honeymoon, minus the horrible sunburn we got

  • Camping at fish lake

  • Camping at Fort Bridger, WY

  • I started school, while Trevor continued school

  • Awesome tans and we got to landscape together

  • Making out

  • Cut down our own Christmas Tree after Thanksgiving

  • Spent Christmas in Idaho

  • Brought in the New Year with some renewed love and committment

  • Became impregnated

  • Trevor Graduated and started his career

  • Spent Easters with Trevor's adorable cousins. I loved decorating the eggs and hiding them for the kids (in the snow)

  • Celebrated anniversary

So I was talking to my mom the other day. And she said something like "You love him now more then ever huh?" and I said "Yep. I can't believe how much I do." and then she asked "Did you love him this much when you were engaged?" I said "Heck no! I didn't even know what love was when I was engaged! And I can't wait to have this child because I know we're just gonna grow deeper in love with each other, and this little one." And it's true. I love that man. I've learned what real love is when you have to sacrifice and put yourself last in order to make someone else happy. We've been through a lot, but we've come out on top. I thank the Lord every day that I get to wake up next to my best friend.

Ps I don't know why the flowers are blue. They're yellow in the picture, but when I uploaded it, they turned blue. Still looks cool.

Clinical Internship

Today I went to my first of 21 clinical internships. My body hurts. I need to get a doctors note so I can do less massages. I nearly passed out during my second one. Then the third one in a row nearly killed me. But my last one got me really energized and excited! All the other ones were just there to relax, which is fantastic. But my last one was in real pain and needed some help. And I saved the day!!!! It felt so great to help someone out like that. It's hard to explain, but it was unbelievably rewarding. I always wanted to go into the spa side of massage, but I don't know, I think the medical side might be more rewarding. But then again, who wouldn't want to get paid to be in a beachside resort, or in the bahamas? Eh, it's not like I can't do one for a while and then switch to the other if I get bored with palm trees and perfect weather.

Some Random samplers

Today i got the internet! Hooray! I'm so excited. And to celebrate, since I haven't posted pictures in forever, I will post some random ones that have happened in the last year. And you will finally see my short, better styled, hair. Enjoy.
Short hair....

We're selling this gorgeous antique upright baby grand piano. Any bids? $2500 and it's yours.

The following 3 pictures are camping at fish lake with my family last september. Trevor couldn't wait for Aebleskivers and started eating the children. It was tragic.

Gage escaped unharmed. He tried to convince Jason to let him use the guitar to smash it over Trev's head to save his sister. Nice try, Gage. Like Jason would ever sacrifice a guitar.

"Farmers tan in my neck and arms. Farmers tan, the secret of my charms. Every girl wants a man with a farmers tan."

Camping at the Mountain Man Rendevous at Ft. Bridger, WY.(above and to the right) It was great fun. But very cold in the morning. You were supposed to wear old time clothes, which trevor did, but I hadn't bought mine yet. This year I will be more authentic. And pregnant.

Yesterday

Yesterday, I heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time! It was so exciting. Last appt they set me two weeks behind what I thought I was, but now they think I may be 4 weeks ahead of what I thought I was. So I may be due in October instead of November, which is a bad, bad thing. November is perfect. I don't want to be due the same time I have finals and graduate! Please don't come that fast Cletus the Fetus!

Happy Birthday

Today is Leah's, last week was Chris', and tomorrow is my love, Trevor's. Happy Birthday my love! For a present, you get to see the baby. Also, Trev and I are FINALLY getting the internet, so there might be more posts more often. (But I don't have more time so we'll see.)

Happy Easter/Passover

So I'm getting a new post about once a month now. That's not too bad. I'm trying again! I should get points for that. Well, it's been eventful. First off, my husband graduated in Massage Therapy! I'm so proud he made it through. I know there were times he wanted to give up, but he stuck it out and I'm am so proud of him. Now I just have to not give up and graduate in October, which is just barely in time, because the baby is due Nov 13th. That's right, folks! In case you haven't heard, Trevor and I have begun our plan to populate the earth with more perfect people! Baby's first ultrasound will be in April-so you already know what next months post will be! That's about it for us. Oh and Happy Easter or Passover, whichever pertains to you.

Our new place-The grand tour.

This weekend, we went up to Rexburg to build the snow cave of our dreams....I mean go to Danielle's
(Trevor's sister) wedding reception.
And it was the awesomest cave ever. It took a total of 8 hours and 7 people to build, but it was a beaut.

Pictured here is the front enterance. That long pile of snow to the right of the entrance is how long the cave is.

The picture doesn't illustrate this well, but this hole is on the top of the pile. It is our snow slide. You can slide on your belly into the cave or.........

out this back entrance.

This is looking toward the back entrance from the front. The picture doesn't do it justice showing the size and the length. But it's big enough to sleep six. Believe us, we know.

Carrie, Trevor, and I stopped for an Irish Coffee break.

I'm pretty sure somebody spit in mine.

I think we had a little too much to drink.....

I know it's been forever. Here's an update

Sorry for the long delay. Update time. So I've been working 45 hours a week and going to school for massage therapy 14 hours a week. Talk about no time to myself. In the hour and 20 min that I have between work and school, I do laundry, homework, cook dinner, and try to have some sort of time for my husband. He works just as long and hard as me (but he gets up and goes to the gym for two hours every morning, so he does have a much longer day). On the up side, I got a raise! So that will help a lot. Things have been very hard, and we're at that point in life where "when it rains it pours." Oh and did I tell you, I've also been dealing with legal battles of identity theft in my name. And not by an individual, it was by a company that got a hold of my information. So I spend what little free time I have writing police reports, signing affidavits, and contacting district and state attorneys, because my attorney is bent on bringing this company down and having someone go to jail for this. As they should. So it's little old me against a large corporation. It's pretty scary and very stressful. Luckily I've got the best most supportive husband in the world and I love him. He always knows how to help me relax and seems to make things better. Anyway, I'm not writing to complain. I also have exciting news!!!

No, I'm not pregnant. What made you think that, you silly gooses! I want to wait until we've settled in Oregon. That's still at least a year away. No, this weekend I'm going to a private party hosted by Robert Redford himself. Though I won't be there as a guest, I'll get to massage his guests. That's right, I'm going to be massaging celebrities! And meeting them and what not. I hope I can get some pictures. I don't know if I can bring a camera, but it'll be a tremendous way to get my name out there and hopefully someone will like my work. Cuz, my work rocks. I can't wait!!!
