Funifying

Ok, here's how you play. You put your back on the wall, and you're feet on the bed, or whatever you may have nearby that can take it. Then you see how close you can get to the ground, without touching the ground or using your hands. It's a blast.

Cheap Decorating Tip

I'm moving into my first apartment in September! My two roomates are already living there, and I already practically live there. It's just a matter of time...

Anyway, the apartment is FULL of huge white walls. That drives me nuts, so I went to a party store and bought streamers for 50 cents a roll. This is our hallway. It's awesome...more pictures will ensue once I get the living room done.

The answer is blowin' in the wind

Chin Up

I love my job...

Hairy situation

Trevor said he'd dye my hair. I was determined to hold him to it. I don't think he really believed me when I told him I'd let him.I told him what I wanted. Blonde streaks.
He considered it.
I'm scared.

Help!

Trevor put balls of tinfoil in my hair.
I needed help getting them out.
And even more help getting them out.

The End

I initially was shocked! It was orange!

Don't worry, mom, I went and got it died back to my natural color (or close to it).

A Toast

Last night, Felice made a celebratory dinner (bbq ribs, cornbread, spinach caserole, corn on the cob, and chocolate pudding filled fudge cakes w/ice cream. I didn't eat anything all day to save room for this meal. Good thing I did.) in honor of my anniversary here with them. As we were about to dig in, Bonnie said "I'd like to raise a toast! To a the greatest year ever with Miranda! May the rest of our lives with her be just as great!" So I guess I'm never leaving.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is my one year mark since I moved here. What a year it has been. There have been ups and downs, but mostly ups. I have met so many awesome people. I miss a lot of them. I have grown in ways I never could have had I stayed in my comfort zone back home. I've had many challenges, both with work life and in the church. I can say without any doubt that this has been the best year of and for my life. I love it here, and I look forward to spending another here. For those of you who don't know, I'm signing another contract and becoming a live out nanny for the same family. I love them so much and look forward to staying with them.
